Mammoth Cave Ear Warmers

Mammoth Cave National Park is so well known for the cave system itself, but did you know they offer miles of hiking trails above ground? A family favorite is to follow the above ground cave trail, which highlights different sections of the cave that you’re actually standing on! Informing you of the cave’s room, location and depth below your feet you get to experience the cave in a whole new way! During the winter months more external cave identifiers, such as sink holes, can be seen due to the reduction of leaf cover.
